KUNST! (ART!) was a three-part cultural educational project for 1100 pupils of the first year of secondary schools in Purmerend. By means of specially developed classes and workshops the project gave the pupils a taste of art and culture, both from their own region and beyond.
In addition to many different art disciplines, the Purmerends Plateel (Purmerends cultural heritage), formed a common thread in the project. Each student contributed "their own bit" and so a gate, formed with tiles created by students, was erected in the Leeghwaterpark. HH Producties initiated the project, took care of the project management and, in collaboration with Cultuurhuis Wherelant, realized the project KUNST!
