Les Commandos Percu

Blast

Creation 2020

A thunderous, metallic roar comes from the bowels of the earth...

After this great eruption a forge becomes visible, men hammer a pile of metal and drums, while their faces are lit by fire.

This tumultuous accumulation is transformed into an implacable machine, a rhythmic, hypnotic and saving mechanism from which springs a primary pulsation, essential for a return to equilibrium.

A brute and wild force flows in these men’s veins, in turn musicians, blacksmiths and miners.

The frenzy that emanates from their music takes hold of bodies and gives way to a furious trance providing a positive and wholesome energy !

Through their last creation, Les Commandos Percu show that under an apparent disorder, there is a primitive, structured and universal energy that leads from chaos to harmony…

Les Commandos Percu is closing with Blast the tryptic which was started by Silence! and Mineurs.

Energy in motion

Music that speaks to the guts. Since the formation of the company in 1996, Les Commandos Percu has invented a language that is both new and ancestral, that speaks through cultures and genres. The company travelled the world with their innovative percussion work and specialized knowledge of fireworks. The essential sparkle in the fusion of music and fireworks is movement: street to street, amongst the public, the pyro-musicians enlighten the sky with their rhythms and daring staging.
